I am a passionate and dedicated Social Studies teacher in Minneapolis. I love to read, write, learn, be creative and travel the world. I am a creative soul with a passion for life. Carpe Diem.

I am a published poet and I'm currently working on a new book in collaboration with artist Mary Schmidt. We are hoping to publish it in 2024. I have co-edited and co-created a poetry anthology for abuse survivors which is available for purchase. Currently, I am the vice-president of Mississippi Valley Poets and Writers Society in the Twin Cities . Our last big project was an anthology of poems by members called Water Songs which will soon be available to purchase.
